This
enchanting story of an Andalusian shepherd boy, named Santiago, who follows
his dream of finding his treasure at the base of the Pyramids of Egypt. He is
encouraged to pursue the dream by a king, a gypsy and an alchemist. He learns
believe in his heart and to act on the omens that present on his journey. One
omen was meeting the alchemist in a desert oasis, and how he teaches Santiago
to listen to the Soul of the World.
